Features

Shared across every CityQ model.

Car-like seating and driving feel

Riders sit rather than perch, with a seat-belt option. Shifts get longer and rider turnover drops.

Full weather protection

Doors, roof, windscreen and a working wiper. The same rider works the same round in January as in June.

Chainless with swappable batteries

No chain, no derailleur, no chain stretch. Swap packs and keep running 24/7 without waiting on a charge cycle.

Smart, connected vehicle

Distance and theft tracking, fleet management and remote diagnostics — all optional.

Flexible capacity for Euro-boxes

The load area is dimensioned around standard Euro-boxes, so your existing packing system carries over.

Why choose CityQ instead of a van?

For urban rounds averaging under 30km a day at low speeds.

  • Up to 50% faster than vans in the inner city, door to door
  • Full access to car-free areas, bike parking and bike lanes
  • No monthly cost in fuel, parking, parking tickets, insurance or road tax
  • Not limited by access to car charging infrastructure
  • Operational 24/7 with swappable batteries
  • No need to recruit only people with a driving licence
  • 90% less emission per km
  • 10× range per kWh

CityQ 850 — frequently asked questions

Anything not covered here is answered on the CityQ FAQ.

How much does this model cost?
Starting at €12,500. All prices are with 1 battery, ex freight directly from German factory. For single units CityQ sales agents will assist. Options such as a second battery, shelving, side doors, cooling boxes and bike-to-brand wrapping are quoted separately.
What makes CityQ a bike and not a car?
CityQ is built to Electrically Assisted Pedal Cycle specification: 250 W total motor output, pedal assistance that cuts off at 25 km/h, and working pedals. On that classification it is treated as a bicycle in the UK and most of the EU.
How do I buy a CityQ cargo bike?
Choose Buy Now and fill in the short form. A CityQ sales agent then confirms the price, options, freight and lead time for your market, and completes the order with you personally.
Can CityQ use bike lanes and park where bikes park?
Yes. Because it is classified as a bicycle, CityQ has full access to cycle lanes, car-free zones and bike parking. Confirm the current rule in your market before deploying a fleet.
Do I need a driving licence?
No. No driving licence, vehicle registration, MOT or road tax is required, which widens the pool of riders you can hire from.
How safe is CityQ?
The bike has an enclosed cabin with doors and side protection, hydraulic brakes with parking brakes, a regenerative brake, and four-wheel stability under full load. It is certified to CE, EN 15194 and EN 17860.
