CityQ Postal Service eBike Stolen – Recovered Within Hours

In an unusual turn of events, a CityQ eBike used by the postal service was reported stolen — only to be tracked down and recovered within a matter of hours.

The would-be thief quickly discovered that stealing a CityQ is no easy task. Equipped with built-in tracking technology, the bike’s location was visible at all times. This allowed CityQ to inform postal authorities of its whereabouts almost immediately.

The case attracted attention from several media outlets, and soon after, police began receiving multiple reports from citizens who had spotted the distinctive postal bike being ridden by someone without a uniform.

Thanks to swift coordination between CityQ, the postal service, and the police, the eBike was returned safely.

As one CityQ representative put it with a touch of humor: “We can understand why someone might want a CityQ — but stealing one is definitely not recommended.”
