Problem
Cities ordering cars to scan streets and inner cities for planning of maintenance and digital twins. But cars have limited access in most of inner cities. A bike have access to almost all of the inner city
Challenge
- Access: Large vans struggled to reach service locations efficiently.
- Parking: Limited availability and frequent parking fines inflated operational costs.
- Recruitment: Attracting and retaining service personnel was becoming difficult due to the discomfort and inefficiency of current vehicle options.
Solution: Switching to CityQ
- From scanning only with cars to also scanning with CityQ where cars are not allowed.
- Enabling monitoring of car free infrastructure.
- Launched in the US and Europe - planning to launch globally.
- Customization includes mounting Lidar scanners and a customized box for managing the equipment and data collection.
